This was before the oil spill. Now there are only two old flamingos around.
And one Heron that shows some traces of oil contact.

While the larger group did the two and a half round, we decided to start at Plantation House Jan Kok, and walk up and down to the Bullenbay, along the muddy trail.

This round-hike took us one hour. It can easily be done with children. Although they probably want to try the pipe, that crosses the water for the hike along the ruins of the Plantation house Rif Marie.
