Naar Boca Sal - To Boca Sal

Ook deze wandelaars - de kleine groep met knieproblemen - vonden de weg naar Boca Sal. Niet vanuit Pannekoek, maar vanuit Soto.
Wij parkeerden de auto's bij Landhuis Groot Santa Martha en volgeden de weg te voet langs de muur van de tuin met Manzanilla's en Kapokbomen, tot de afsplitsing naar Playa Hundu.

Also these hikers -the small group with knee problems- found their way to Boca Sal. Not from Pannekoek, but from Soto.
We parked the cars at Plantation House Groot Santa Martha and followed the road on foot along the wall of the garden with Kapok trees and Manzanilla trees. Untill the fork with a left turn, asphalt road, to Playa Hundu.

Dan linksaf over asfalt richting zee tot de afsplising van het pad naar Boca Sal. De wandeling kent enkele glooiingen, maar vraagt niet om echt klimwerk.

We followed the road till there is, on the left, a turnoff to Boca Sal, see photo. The hike has a few slopes, but does not include real climbing.

Het eerste gedeelte van de wandeling, de asfaltweg, is bereikbaar voor rijdend verkeer en wordt volop gebruikt als vuilstortplaats. Maar ook dat leeft verrassende plaatjes op.

The first part of the walk, the asphalt road, is accessible for cars and is (unlawful) used as landfill. But also that gives surprising images.

Niet alleen afval, maar ook een val.

Terugwandeling langs dezelfde wegen. Nog een mooi bloempje geschoten. Net zo klein als het besje van de Stakamahachi, maar het zit aan een andere plant, een flinke struik.

The hike back follows the same route. I took a picture of a tiny berry; just as small as the
berries of the Stakamahachi, but it is another plant, a hefty Bush.
